"Observance From The Window"...
...Yes, we are still down at the beach, and have this view from our windows...this shot was taken from the 1st floor balcony..
...I guess it's a pity it's been windy and cool and mostly overcast, but then, we are on the coast and that's to be expected..but one thing we've noticed whilst sitting admiring the view from the window and watching the planes come in from everywhere to the nearby airport - are the people who are walking alone, all alone, not going anywhere in particular..some with bags, some without, and some just sitting alone on the seats...in the cold and wind..
...Being very close to the walking path we can notice how sad some people appear, others, just lonely, others, just cold and making their way somewhere along the path..some with Ipads with cords to their ears, and oblivious of their surroundings, only where they are going, or coming from, many tapping away on some mobile phones or something, some overdressed, some underdressed for the weather..maybe Vanity, maybe it's Cool..and some just downright alone and sad..
...But whenever we come to the City - we notice this - people alone..it hasn't changed over the years when I think back as I remember remarking to John when we went to the City from the Country - many years ago to get married, - 'why is everyone alone...no-one talks to anyone.."... it didn't matter whether it was on the street or in the buses - they were alone - and life goes on...are people afraid to talk to each other I wondered?..
...I know sometimes I have spoken to many lonely looking people and I've possibly been the only person who has spoken to them for the day..
...On the beach, well, that was different, lots of frivolity withfamilies and their dogs and it didn't matter whether it was cold, windy or whatever...but the lonely people walk on...
