Snow in the Trees

A late morning walk to mail documents at the post office, only to find it was closed due to weather.  Hopefully it will be open tomorrow, but I have my doubts.
To get a bit more of a walk, I picked my way along the pavements and road to the service bridge.  The pavements haven't been consistently cleared, and even then the quality is variable.  Some were cleared yesterday, but not today; some today and gritted; some are packed snow; and some are slidy slush.  But none of them had ways to get across a road without getting through the ploughed snow.
There were rainbows, there was snow, there were children sledging, but in the end I chose this photo of trees a few steps from the front gate.
And of course there was paperwork.  There's always paperwork.
