Snowy Landscapes!

Nothing says bitterly cold like a stone wall covered in snow...or at least that's what I always think!

The day began braving the icy and snowy road to reach the main road, which I successfully managed.

When I got to school, the caretaker was unable to open the padlock to open the gates to school because it was frozen. He tried with deicer, a lighter...and then gave up!

We had to crawl under the gate, unlock the school doors, boil a kettle and then pour the boiling water over the lock. Success!

There's a first experience for everything after all!!
