My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Working at home is lovely but it can be tiresome. 

I used to actively encourage Caro to listen in on my meetings when I was on Project Gromit because they were fun and funny and sometimes she would join in. 

I don't do that so much these days because most of my meetings are pointless and boring. In fact I attended two meetings today...

TWO OF THEM

...where people had a group of us attend and then said, "Ummmmm.... sooo..... we don't really have anything for you today.... but ummmm.... anyone want to raise anything?"

YES.

ACTUALLY.

WHY IS YOUR STUPID STUPID MEETING IN OUR CALENDARS IF YOU DIDN'T NEED TO HAVE IT???

I did not say that. I just made a mental note to stop attending future meetings from Idiot Person.

Oftentimes I will go into other rooms so Caro can avoid such unpleasantness. And sometimes I'll even sit in bed.

This is also fraught with peril because if I sit in bed then Jasper wants in on the action. Today he shoved his little nose under the duvet and fell asleep between my legs. 

Consequently (two hours later) Caro asked if I was STILL in meetings and I had to say no, but I couldn't move because JASPER.

He actually makes my meetings a lot better.
