FROZEN HERON

It was -7 this morning a 6am and when I went out at 8am it was -5. It was so cold I had to turn around and come home. Sad news one of the foxes was killed last night, two roads away, hoping it is not one of the ones that visit me. Dentist - got an impression for a small plate instead of the crown, so another appointment next week.
As the canal is completely frozen this heron was in the stream on my walk, it has running water. It must have been hungry as I managed to get down the bank to get my blip.
