....Stock became family....

....as all was moved to higher ground, the moos so loud echoing across the flooded water while the ducks cruised by as the rain continued to fall.

The sea had calmed down from yesterday but birds were battling with the wind, some being injured in the Wellington area. It was not a day for picnics or visiting the playground as many areas remained flooded.

I wonder what FarmerGirl would make of this? :)
