Oh What A Night

I've been on the go all day today which started with me waking at 5.30 to go for my usual Saturday morning lake swim session. Not so many people today as some were racing. The lake was surprisingly warm...well 17 degrees warm anyway. Had quite a good session.

Then it was straight off to work. Its assessments time. Over the next few weeks I'll be testing the children to see their progress. Luckily I got a fair amount done today.

Then it was home for a bath, get ready and off to a party.

The party was for a friends 60th. She was lucky enough to have a friend who hosted it for her. I've never been to such an amazing house. It was stunning. It had a beautiful very large pond at the front, a huge courtyard, which was decorated with wonderful coloured plant pots and hanging baskets. They also had a huge barn which had been decorated so nicely for the party. It was out if this world. The food was great and the drinks just flowed. The dj was brilliant, he kept me on my feet all night. I love dancing. I could have gone on and on...but all god things come to an end.

Looking forward to tomorrow. We are white water rafting at Lee Valley....I can't wait!
