Beehive Beck

Today it snowed. Not a great deal but enough for a wintery effect. It may all freeze tonight of course and then things will get difficult.
I made the most of being indoors by making a start on decorating the dining room. Rob used the steamer to remove our old wall map of the area. Four flat sheets of the local OS maps covered around five foot square on the chimney breast. Although this has been of interest to visitors, after thirty years it’s looking rather brown and sorry for itself so we decided to say goodbye to it. I wonder if people will notice it’s gone? We will hang one of the oil paintings there instead so that will make a nice change.
