Birthday serenade

It was my birthday today and granddaughter I wanted to play for me as the birthday cake candles were being lit!  She did play several clear chords but as yet hasn't learnt the fingering of the strings.  She'll get there as she is keen at the moment.  I am so pleased because my grandfather used to play the viola and no-one in the family has followed in his footsteps up to now.

Bank manager this morning for his annual visit re the business.  All went well ...

Tea and later supper down with the family which was lovely.  A bright cold sunny day.
