The Monthly Read

Another very cold but bright day. Snow was forecast but it never appeared. I had a team meeting at Save the Children and local shopping to do in the morning and I’d set aside the afternoon to start reading the first book of my new Edinburgh Uni monthly literature reflection course (it starts this Friday so cutting it fine!) As Mr P was off doing his Tweed Wheels volunteering in the Yarrow Valley this afternoon, I offered to help book some of his Camino accommodation (he’s doing the big one at the end of April). Little did I know that it would take me most of the afternoon to sort it out and so annoyingly I had very little time for reading or sitting by the fire.
