Roses lasting well

The roses I bought last week have opened up more but doing quite well in a warm room. We were planning a trip to Newark today but didn’t fancy it with freezing cold, icy roads and a bit of snow so a day doing jobs indoors. The house smells of polish, the ensuite is shining, the washing dried and ironed and I made a start on sorting books for the charity shop. Hubby went to the gym and I had another hour sorting photos and deleted a lot more and a nice cold walk with Hetty.
Hubby said he would cook and decided to do a dish i normally do but having told him the ingredients and given instructions twice he said perhaps easier if I did it, so I did.
