We hadn't walked along the river path for a while due to the footpath either being under water or extremely muddy, but with the ground rock hard after a sharp frost we decided to give it a go. 
I'm glad we did as 
a) Luna got to play with her friend Ollie and I had a good chat with his owner and 
b) the reflections were lovely too.
A couple of trees had succumbed to the recent gales, so a bit of a detour around one that had fallen over the footpath and the other was actually wedged in the pumping mechanism at the pumping station.   Looks like it could be quite a challenge freeing it.
