A sprinkling

The day starts with a look at bf, Wordle and a trawl through a news letter that arrives via email - The Conversation. This is quote ‘a not for profit journalism project that pairs professional editors with academics to publish articles that share new research and explain issues in the news’ unquote’.

This morning I looked behind the scenes, articles are written by academic researchers and funded by a number of universities, readers and grants, The newsletter was started over ten years ago in Australia with many other countries now emailing their own version. The aim is to provide reliable information to the public

Today the new coffee machine arrived, John unpacked it much to the delight of Bobbiegirl, boxes in boxes and as usual she started nosing around, Anyway once the machine was washed and ready to go we fancied a coffee; a ponder, read through the notes, twice, looked at all the diagrams, hmnn, where are those academics when you need one. Eventually we (John) worked out the dos and don’ts and thankfully a good, hot, coffee arrived. When drinking we heard a squeaky, groaning noise, a look of alarm from both of us only to see little girl emerge from the smaller box. The next size needed trying out for size, eventually she decided on the carton, third extra , remaining there for hours.
Can’t say I have done a lot today, the time disappeared, quite pleasant.
