Minus 20. A day full of problems, from morning to evening. We got up early to leave Boda at 10, because I had an appointment with a man who was going to but my kitchen table.
When Dag was going to start the heater in the car, he realized that the batteri in the car key was dead and he could not even open the car door. Luckily we found the same kind of battery in a Christmas decoration. One problem was solved and we could leave Boda at time.
When we passed McDonald´s in Töckfors, I turned my head and saw the man and his dog sitting outside in the cold. I felt so bad, but of course the man must have felt much worse ;)
Dag dropped me of at Ski and continued to Tofte, where a lot of snow were waiting. I felt sorry for him, since he has a lack of energy, these day, but he had to start the snow blower and also use the shovel. In the evening he went to his therapy room in the other building to check if the heat was ok, since he should have patients there tomorrow. He met an icecold room and found the heat pump didn´t work. He went to check it at the veranda, but it was impossible to open the door, because of all the snow at the veranda.
I really feel sorry for him now. This winter has been so tough, soo cold and soo much snow, The electricity system can´t take any more and the electrical fuses blow very often these days. Now he is looking at internett, trying to find out where he can get a gas oven, tomorrow morning. It´s not commen to use that in Norway. Wednesday is it expected about 20-40 cm of snow again.
