Lintons got Talent

This evening it was the annual Flower Festival talent show, in a small Von Trap moment we all had a go. H sang with the parents choir, Poppy sang and danced with her band Pitch Perfect I played along with Pete, Bill and Matt and Alf stole the show with a quick rendition of Bron yr Aur Stomp.

A lot of people got up and did a turn, ranging from dance to poetry with a dad band in the middle. A very fun evening.

The other excitement today is that it is LeMans, as Alf and I are not there we have decided to bring it here. We watched the beginning which was sadly marred by the tragic death of Allan Simonsen at Tetre Rouge. The first death there in 27 years, it really brings a lump to my throat. On every ticket at every event I've been to it clearly says 'Motorsport is dangerous'. I know the people who make motorsport safe, they will be working hard to understand why this happened and to make sure it does not happen again.
