Turnstone #12

A lovely bright day in parts but it was very cold out in the wind. 
We spent a few hours on the Wirral watching birds at high tide at Hoylake, dropped in at West Kirby Marine Lake and then a quick half hour at Parkgate later in the day. 
Lots of birds at Hoylake, but not as close as I'd have liked. Nothing of note at West Kirby apart from a couple of very confiding turnstones near the road at one end, and no owls or harriers at Parkgate, so a bit of a frustrating day. But it was good to be out and get in a few steps.
