Brooklyn Botanical Gardens!

I'm in Brooklyn, NY visiting a dear friend of mine from college (Janet). We spent several hours this afternoon at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, which is where these photos were taken. My self-portrait was taken in a tree house! The tree house was built out of fallen trees in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy last year. The artist's statement explains that the design was inspired by how bird's make their nests - very cool!
