Lovely evening with friends

Had a good day at work, and for a Friday that's a good thing as Fridays' aren't normally good. Delivered a one-to-one tutorial to an A star student, on the web editing tool we use for our corporate website!

Then in the evening I went to a dinner party with Karen to celebrate another friend (Debbie) getting a new job. By mid-week though, neither Karen or I felt we had the energy to go and for me being an hour and a half away it was a long way to drive there and back in the same evening. So by Thursday we had hatched a plan and decided to pool our resources as we both wanted to go. Given the party was only 40mins away from Karen's house we decided that I would drive to hers and we would car share from there and I would stay the night on the way back.

The evening was great. Lots of people from the Stirling office where I did a 6 month secondment last year (May - December 2012) were there. So it was nice to catch up with folk I hadn't seen for months, including Debbie. The food was fab, and the round the table table tennis was entertaining.
