Seize the moment

A brief gap in the clouds had to be grasped. Otherwise it's been grey and drizzly all day, but not cold. Mundane tasks at home, but I made some scones with glacé cherries and ground almonds in them, very nice with a cup of tea :)

Go large to see the niches in the wall -- I often wonder what they were for.
