Cold morning, just a little warmer in the afternoon, and getting colder again in the evening.

Shoveled snow down from the cowshed roof before lunch. There was about 60 cm in a drift along the top and it was heavier than I thought it was, so good to have it done. Quite chilly on my cheeks, but a sweaty job with the winter overalls.

Our washing machine has worked poorly lately, not getting water in quickly enough. We had planned to take it in for service in the afternoon as Jussi was home and could help me getting it in the van. Before proceeding that far, we took the inlet hose off and it occurred to me to flush it. Some rust came out, so we put it back and turned the machine on. Wow! No need to take it anywhere and pay for the service.

Some errands to run anyway, so we drove off. Got the broken chain saw back from service, but didn't buy a new one yet, despite looking at the selection.
