I woke up quite early this morning but decided to stay put for a while and enjoy the warmth of the bed...it was an hour later when I next opened my eyes! But in the meantime I'd had a very vivid and lovely dream which has  stayed with me for the rest of the day.

In the morning I did some admin things, like sorting out annual leave,, booking trains and saving us £200 on car insurance renewal. That felt good.

After lunch, Jess and I went up into the forest. It was cold, frosty and sunny - just as I like it. We met a young man with feathers in his hair and a lively black spaniel.

Time to cook the tea now, I think.
