Walk along the river Derwent

It was freezing cold, but lovely and bright, as we walked along the river Derwent towards Broughton this morning. ( two and a half hours )

This was the view of Skiddaw...the cloud on the top kept coming and going.

Plenty of snow on the fells...more to come tomorrow?
