Poplar

MK this morning because JJ had to find a suitable laptop for the Sharnbrook Learning for Pleasure organisation.  Their old one has failed and they needed a replacement for the various groups.  In the old days councils used to run evening classes but that all came to an end years ago, and so Sharnbrook, being a large village where a lot of the classes were held, pulled together to organise a variety of subjects, which is very successful.

This afternoon I walked up to the playing field where I took a picture of one of the poplar trees from close up.  Fortunately I didn't fall over backwards.  I didn't stay out long as it's bitingly cold.
