Umbrella to shade the Hydrangea

It has been quite hot of late and even though we try to find the shadiest place for some of our pots, it is sometimes difficult.
I bought the hydrangea last year. It was one that was going out cheap as it was looking like it could be on its last legs. I nurtured it last summer and then we planted into the pot. We have it placed where it gets the morning sun. At this time of year, though, the morning sun seems to last way past midday and consequently some of the leaves were burning. As I have a chair beach umbrella thought this would be the ideal thing to give it a bit of shade. It seems to be working
