First nation art

Yesterday was our day for culture!  I have always enjoyed the art of Australia's first nation, whilst confessing l dont understand it at all.  I like the vibrancy of the colours and the patterns and repetitions.  It is the art of 10s of 1,000 years.  With all this in mind we took ourselves off to see "connections", an interactive art installation at the Conference centre.  It was fabulous and on a colossal scale.
We have now left Australia and are in the South island of NZ in the lovely township of Wanaka.
