Keeper Lane

Centred around Tong, between the vast conurbations of Leeds and Bradford, there is this little oasis of green, intersected by many paths and bridleways. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere really and in thirty-five years of living here, I've never explored any of it. Until today. 

It proved to be a fine walk, with E, N & D, albeit very wet and muddy in places, taking in some find old packhorse roads and some lovely woodland. We also discovered the Moravian settlement at Fulneck. And the sun shone too. What a revelation!
