Staffordshire General Infirmary
The car stopped beside a large notice which read 'Period Offices To Let', and the offices in question were graced with an imposing portico, as seen.
A quick online search, using the name above the portico, reveals this as the 1771 Staffordshire General Infirmary, enlarged and remodeled in 1897 and this central section is all that remains of the original after demolition in 1999.
It's amazing what one learns when trying to find a supermarket fuel station.
