Downtown construction

I went downtown because we ordered takeout from a restaurant that said it's struggling amid the construction. I really dislike the plan to change the downtown pedestrian mall to a one-way street. That means it'll be more dangerous, more clustered, there will be more car exhaust fumes, and there will be less outdoor dining space. And now, businesses are suffering because of the work.

I don't know why the city thought this was a good idea!
