Patchwork

An early phone call from my dad to say he’d just called an ambulance for my mum led to a rapid change of plan for the day.

Rather than chairing a grants panel and an afternoon visit to J, my manager kindly stepped in and I nipped over for a brief visit with J before heading over to York. By mid afternoon mum had been thoroughly checked out by a&e, without finding anything wrong and sent home. Some kind of post viral syndrome was the most likely explanation.
