Things I learned today:
 
There is such a thing as "Too Wet" willow. 

Willow, despite being wet, will still split. 

Secateurs will not cut soggy willow. 

If at First You Don't succeed, try and try and try again.  

Make sure your sticks are the same length.

If Your children are 7 hourrs ahead of you in the world, they won't respond as quickly as you would like when you are looking for praise. 

Someone else's Children will step out in front of your car when you are trying to maneuver. 

Practise makes perfect.
