A field full of Fieldfares
The first problem with photographing a field full of Fieldfares is that they are so well camouflaged all that you get is a photo of a field with a few dots in it.
The second problem is that they are so small that even with the telephoto lens at 600mm a lot of cropping is needed even if they are only twenty or thirty metres away.
The third problem is if you have accidentally knocked the anti-wobble switch off the first set of shots leave a little to be desired to say the least.
Anyway I managed to rescue one shot from the first batch, and a couple from the second batch, my favourite being the blip, and all three are on Flickr.
