Duck!

One of my better attempts at snapping birds, though still pretty dodgy and in my defence it was paddling at a fair old lick. Mrs Goosander went and hid under a tree as soon as I reached for my camera, surprised this guy didn’t as well. I was so busy looking at the pair of them that I missed a kingfisher until it took off in a flash of blue. A blurry bird opportunity gone a-begging.
I was headed over to play a tenpin singles match, bottom of the league (Ross) vs second bottom (me). Ross played rubbish, I was even more rubbish and was trounced. Positions reversed. Enjoyed the walk there and back though.
