UP THEY RISE

They are an impulse as all the ingredients were to hand yet before I started I knew the scones would be rough. I halved the ingredient quantities and this is the result in the oven. It’s amazing how much washing up is involved but worth doing. Luckily I’ve got some strawberry jam to add to the six scones now cooling.
