Without Eeva here, I busied myself by oiling the furniture. I really am the embodiment of rock and roll. I decided to do it first thing in the morning so that there wouldn't be as much solvent in the air while I was sleeping. I think I'll just use boiled linseed oil next time, because the hydrocarbons in this teak oil still made me light-headed even with the windows open and with me being out as much as possible. Still, very happy with the result - about 50 years old, and still looking amazing (the sideboard, not me).
