Fete des Rois

I belong to a French Circle and tonight we were celebrating the Fetes des Rois- the French version of 12th Night (belatedly). We do this at the Civil Service Club in Westminster. We have a quiz, a buffet and a galette. In the galette there is a bean and whoever gets the bean is declared King or Queen and they nominate a consort.  They then distribute small presents to everyone  (which everyone has brought). It is good fun.
