Exhibition Day

Kirsi and the poster outside the Dorothea Lange exhibition in Tampere today. It snowed. The train ran fifteen minutes late and we nearly froze on the platform as we waited but it was worth it. A wonderful exhibition and a humbling experience. I couldn't help but think that the American people have forgotten the past from which they escaped. Thank goodness for people like Lange who documented what she saw before her lens. The hardship. The poverty. The despair. And we think we have troubles!
