Home visit from a Robin .

Birdwise today has been interesting, it’s a shame we will be away for the Big Garden Bird Watch event . Two robins were pottering around the garden , feeding happily with just the odd bit of fussing when they got a bit too close . Earlier three coal tits had flown in or blown in and had a bust up on the lawn , they all departed fairly quickly and took the fight elsewhere .
Towards the end of the day , as light fades and darkness gathers, we watched a murmuration of Starlings swooping and swirling . A very pleasant way to end the day .
