Solway Coast
This is a photo of the shore south of Allonby. I wanted to work on sunlight, surf and sky today, but this morning it was grey. This is the what it looked like in the afternoon. I also wanted to have sharp photos from front to back.
Behind me and to the right is a Roman fortlet on top of a cliff. Behind me is another history site called saltpans., where salt was produced since Anglo Saxon times. (Google solwaycoastaonb.org.uk)
