Infused

Someone on the team call said they had returned to work after the break ‘physically, mentally and spiritually fit.’ I contemplated whether I could say the same. I decided that yes, I can tell I’m in the throes of a pro-well-being January burst because I have the interest to do things like cut cucumber and infuse water with it.

We had power cuts all day and even the generator had to be rested, leaving us all in hot, humid offices. Highly tiresome. We’re fairly sure the cause is this grey, oppressive weather which bursts into showers every so often.

After the standard evening activities I listened to the album Graceland for a while, and it was marvellous.
