Looking across to Melbreak

After lunch we headed to Rannerdale ( 3 months too early for the bluebells ).

It was dry and cold...but colder weather is forecast for the next few days.

In the photo you can see Melbreak, Crummock Water, and some beautiful gorse and bracken.
