On the mend
Hugo seems to be a good bit better after his op yesterday.
I tend to think animals recover more quickly than us as they don’t think about the past so much or worry about the future.
Robert Burns put it much better in his poem “To A Mouse”
“Still, thou art blest, compar’d wi’ me!
The present only toucheth thee:
But Och! I backward cast my e’e,
On prospects drear!
An’ forward tho’ I canna see,
I guess an’ fear!”
