Freezing Fog

The landscape near my mother's house was white today - not from snow, but from frost. The low-hanging clouds became freezing fog in the Taunus hills at -3°C. The extra shows a close-up of the frost on the maple tree.

I spent a couple of hours with my mother and E, before driving back home. There's no frost in the valley, but the day has been a dark and dreary one. I hope for more light tomorrow, when B and I want to go for a walk.
