Cakes and more cakes!

What a day, the rain has come down, the wind has blown its socks off but is now more settled and we did have some brief sunshine! I did go out for a walk when it wasn't raining and took quite a few shots, also did some indoors. However today you have a blip of what I've been doing due to bad weather! I felt in need of some comfort food! The one on the right is a pineapple and cherry cake,the one at the front is a bakewell tart which has to be iced and the one at the back has just come out of the oven and will be a carrot cake when finished.
While I've been sitting doing blip the door has been ajar and I've been sung to by a noisy goldfinch, lovely. Did take a shot but have had to crop it so not good enough to put on here!
