The Firebird

One year ago today, Hebden Bridge was devastated by a great flood. Houses, shops, offices, pubs - flooded out overnight. Some never to re-open.
Today Hebden Bridge held their Hand Made Parade 2013 to mark the event and fill the town with fun and laughter.
They certainly did that. The weather held off (just about) and the streets were lined with thousands of people clapping and cheering the parade.
I took loads of blips - it was that kind of day. This is Pegasus and we also had a Dog with Wings - but I chose The Firebird because I thought the colour and vibrancy summed up the day.
Better if viewed 'Large' :-)
