Unpleasant walk!

I really needed to get out for a walk, been inside for the past couple of days....but it was mostly quite unpleasant....all the slush and snow that was there yesterday has now frozen hard.  Makes for rather tricky walking, even with grippies on!   my matra was simple....'this is good for me'....and so i did it!

now it's time to lay down with my book.   No Great Mischief by Alistair MacLoad, and mostly set here on Cape Breton Island....it's a wonderful book, quite sad but also very inspiring.
