Overcast

A day off and a long weekend for S.’s birthday. We drove up to Minsmere for lunch and a walk. Some of the reserve was flooded and inaccessible and there weren’t many birds around but it was a pleasant stroll. This photo was taken around midday but so overcast it felt like dusk.
The ‘best’ room in the hotel which I had specially booked smelled of sewerage on arrival so we moved to an actually nicer room apart from being over the kitchen extractor fan and having a carpark view!
