Bungo in the Back Lanes : The Wee Handmade Gallery

Year 13 for this annual community event in Strathbungo, Glasgow. Householders open up their gardens into the back lanes, and provide stalls with food, books, paintings, cards, jewellery, face painting, a beer garden.

Although it threatened to pour, it stayed dry and the back lanes were jam packed.

I managed to get behind the counter at the very busy The Wee Handmade Gallery stall for a few shots. Business was brisk, selling jams, tablet, jewellery, bags, paintings, cards, cookie mix. Everything is handmade, and sourced within a ten mile radius of the shop, to be found at 167 Deanston Drive in Shawlands. I've already tasted the Blackcurrant and Gin Jam, so indulged in tablet this time ... to be blipped soon.
