Still going strong

This is the same peony flower that I blipped last week and when it first came out the week before , it's still going strong and looking beautiful despite all the heavy rain recently. I am really surprised how much the colour has changed over the two weeks, this is much closer to the colour I remember last year. Not sure why it has changed so much, I certainly don't think it has been bleached by the sun :-)
