Delft Blue hyacinths. This was in the Christmas hamper that our younger son and partner put together for us (the one that had the shortbread in it…); it’s absolutely not edible! The plant is described as comprising soft porcelain blue flowers atop lance shaped green leaves, and with a gentle perfume. That feels right.

We got an iMessage today from our older son re our grandson “Smile if you’ve just rolled over all by yourself “…. he also sent us a photograph - our grandson looked so pleased with his achievement! Big smiles.
