Ice on the long pond

It was a beautiful sunny day today. Our power came on last night around 7pm. We had all the lights turned off and I was reading by my headlamp. All of a sudden, I heard a beep and I knew the microwave was back and then the sound of the fridge. We turned just the Christmas lights back on and enjoyed those until bedtime.
Today I was able to get started on my first job. I will have to get quicker at things if I plan on really making money with this but I also have to give myself a little slack on this first job. I should finish it tomorrow morning and get it turned in.
